Sophia Bug 15 months!

My beautiful girl

My little love bug :) she wants to do everything herself....including feeding herself with utensils (oh, my big girl), putting on her jacket and pants, push anything and everything around on the wood floors (may include a chair, high chair, boxes, stroller, etc), crawl up and down the stairs (this still makes me so nervous)

She is not shy at all and will approach any child of any age while in public.  We went to the Alderbrook Resort a while back and she saw an 18 month old boy (I talked with the mama) and ran up to him and tried to hold his hand, hug him and then took him down on the grass.  He just stared at her then ran to his mom. She then tried to show him how to throw rocks in the pond.  So fricken CUTE!

On the developmental side, meltdowns are part of her daily routine.  The bad news:  her temper is easily aroused.  The good news:  they are usually short lived.  I haven't quite found the right way to deal with them for her personality, but this mama is working hard because I know every child is different and what works for one kiddo doesn't always work for another.
