12 weeks! Baby is the size of a Lime!

Daily life is starting to get a little easier each day, Thank God!!!  A little more energy, more of an appetite, less nausea.  Still not 100%, but at least I'm starting to feel somewhat normal again :)  When looking back at preggo pics from Sophia, I am a lot bigger-quicker this time around.

Flashback photo:  This is me at 16 weeks with Sophia.  I was so proud of this bump :)  And now at 12 weeks, I'm a lot bigger than I was then.  To be expected though.  "They say" the second baby you always show earlier, because your body already knows what to do.  And it wasn't long ago that I was pregnant, so my body hasn't fully gone back to normal yet.

Here is what my precious baby looks like in my belly :)  Gosh!  I can't believe we are going to have another baby!!!  It seems like just yesterday it was just Zach and I living our life......now I don't know what I would do without Sophia......and soon our next sweet one :)

"The most dramatic development this week: reflexes. Your baby's fingers will soon begin to open and close, his toes will curl, his eye muscles will clench, and his mouth will make sucking movements. In fact, if you prod your abdomen, your baby will squirm in response, although you won't be able to feel it. His intestines, which have grown so fast that they protrude into the umbilical cord, will start to move into his abdominal cavity about now, and his kidneys will begin excreting urine into his bladder.
Meanwhile, nerve cells are multiplying rapidly, and in your baby's brain, synapses are forming furiously. His face looks unquestionably human: His eyes have moved from the sides to the front of his head, and his ears are right where they should be. From crown to rump, your baby-to-be is just over 2 inches long (about the size of a lime) and weighs half an ounce."
