Carolee believes in the sacredness of birth. It is her hope to partner with women and their families throughout the passage to parenthood in order to support their birth journey. She believes this is best done by building a close and respectful relationship that honors the family's inherent knowledge of birth while providing information in a manner that compliments individual learning styles.
Carolee lives rurally with Jay, her husband of over twenty years and their four wonderful children. Without their loving support she could not be the midwife she is today."
Constance Frey LM, CPM "As a midwife, Constance honors the authority of each woman over her body, her care and the health of her child. Being both competent and compassionate are her core values. She’s a strong woman who listens well and offers gentle and loving support as well as frank and open communication.
Now in her 8th year of practice, Constance has attended over 500 births. “But I still feel awe and respect the sacredness of each birth,” she says. Knowing that no two pregnancies are the same, she cherishes the uniqueness of each woman, family and child. She sought midwifery care for the birth of her first child 20 years ago, and has worked in the field of women’s health ever since. Both spiritual and scientific, she strives to combine the ancient wisdom of our foremothers with modern, evidence-based care. "
I already love these women both so much! They have made this experience so wonderful and we are just getting started! They know me and Zach so well already and really care about how I am feeling and how the baby is doing. Our plan is to deliver at the Birth House, a 1909 historic Victorian house located on Pacific Avenue, less than 2 miles from the hospital. The Birth house has the coziness of a home with the competence of comprehensive care. We will have a lovely suite with a queen size bed, our own bathroom and patio, a very large bath tub, a stereo system (so we can play our own tunes), and pretty white Christmas lights on the ceiling.....its bran new with a warm and comforting feel. I got teary eyed when Zach and I first saw the room, knowing that our first born would be delivered there.

So happy you love them as much as we do!! Aren't the rooms just amazing!
