My Barley Baby

So technically, BarleyLife is her first food!  BL is actually a concentrated juice from the young leaves of the barley plant--not to confuse it with barley the grain.  I've been giving it to her off and on since she was born and am just now being consistent with giving her this amazing food!  BarleyLife comes in the form of a powder, so I lick my finger, dip it in and put it in her mouth.  She doesn't mind it at all, in fact I think she enjoys it because she sucks really hard on my finger and always opens her mouth when she sees the green powder heading towards her mouth :)

Research has found that green barley juice is abundant in enzymes, essential amino acids, and is rich in antioxidant ability, anti-inflammatory activity, and immune system support!  YES Please!  Even though I take the barley at least 2 times a day and she's getting it from my milk, I wanted her to get used to it at a young age.  I think I will be starting more solids in the next couple of months.
It will help build a healthy immune system and is also known to stimulate a healthy appetite. BarleyLife also contains molecules that enhance the release of the growth hormone. Because the immune system is enhanced it can help fight off viruses.

BarleyLife is a cell food. It is the richest most balanced source of nutrients in a single food! It contains at least 16 vitamins, including vitamin B12 and folic acid, 23 minerals, including natural iron, 18 amino acids, including all the 8 essential ones, making it a complete plant protein, and numerous “live enzymes” aiding proper absorption and utilization of all the nutrients. Wow!

When she turns 1 until she is about 5, I will give her 1 teaspoon of the green powder a day, and if I feel she's getting sick or under the weather, I'll give her 2 teaspoons.  I LOVE my barleylife!

Take a look at the Proverbs 31 woman.  It says:  “The wife of noble character … She provides food for her family … and does not eat the bread of idleness”. So what kind of food – or nourishment do you provide for your family?
